On May 14th, several of us attended the POSTER conference at CTU Prague.

True to our well-known greed, prizes were brought home from this conference as well:

Best Poster Award, Biomedical Engineering Session:

• 2nd Place – Raphael Hoffmann, Lara Schweitzer: Adaptive Self-tightening Donning Mechanism for Exoskeletons

To mark his 30th (!) POSTER anniversary, our Emeritus Prof. Vladimír Blažek was awarded a medal for his long-standing dedication to the conference - an occasion that brings his involvement to a fitting and memorable close. Beyond his contributions to the conference itself, Vladimír - formerly together with his wife Vera (†), the chairwoman of the Aachen-Prague Cultural Association - always organised and personally led an extensive sightseeing program following the event. In doing so, the pair created cherished memories for several generations of PhD students and provided unique insights that are typically inaccessible to the average tourist.
